Basic Structure

A typical oil seal consists of synthetic rubber, a metal case, and a spring. Oil seal basically has 2 lips, main and dust lip. The main lip seal fluid to contact the rotation shaft. The dust lip prevent penetration of the contamination from outside. The spring supports to increase and maintain the radial force.
